Jelena Jankovic will regain her Sony Ericsson WTA your no 1 ranking on Monday. Serena losing to Na Li @ Porsche Tennis Grand Prix upsets her. On the other side Jankovi has won more matches than any other player. She has a great record of 55-16 in 2008. She has secured a spot in the singles competition at the season-ending Sony Ericsson Championships

Jelena Jankovic played briallianly at the 2008 U.S Open and she did something in her semifinal against Elena Dementieva that no one else had been able to do the entire tournament. She was victorious. Not only did she win one, she won two 6-4, 6-4 - putting her into the women’s final. That is pretty awesome now isn’t it?
