Jelena Jankovic played briallianly at the 2008 U.S Open and she did something in her semifinal against Elena Dementieva that no one else had been able to do the entire tournament. She was victorious. Not only did she win one, she won two 6-4, 6-4 - putting her into the women’s final. That is pretty awesome now isn’t it?

Jankovic said after her semifinal win that she thinks the Williams sisters are the strongest players on the tour and that she cannot compare to their strength and power. But with an even record against Serena, Jankovic has shown an ability to neutralize that power and will have to do so again on Sunday.
